A new era of sustainable food ingredients is here
Welcome to Planet A Foods.
Foods we love are often based on troubling realities.
Crops like cocoa can only be grown in certain parts of the world, where rainforests thrive. But the demand for these ingredients leads to mass deforestation and huge carbon emissions, which will only be made worse through climate change. According to Global Forest Watch, Ghana – a major producer of cocoa – lost 1.4 million hectares of tree cover from 2000 to 2021, resulting in 739 million tons of CO2 emissions.
That’s where we come in. We’ll save 500 million tons of CO2 each year.
How? By producing food ingredients that are decoupled from limited resources & exploitation.
